Recognising the need for large multi-centre trials to inform peri-operative care, the aim of the meeting is identify key interim objectives to the formation of internationally recognised trial group(s). The meeting will include talks on various aspects of research strategy, updates on current trials and an open forum to discuss the future of peri-operative research in the UK.
