Online preregistration for Euroanaesthesia 2010 is open until 11 May 2010.

Airway Hands-on Workshop

The Airway Hands-on Workshop will take place on Saturday 12 June 2010 in Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre. This year there will be two parallel, all day, hands-on sessions organised. The content of the two parallel workshops will be slightly different.

The W1 ‘Airway Hands-on Workshop: State of the Art’ will be orientated towards the latest developments in Airway technologies for hospitals that have enough resources for investing in high-tech equipments; the
W2 ‘Airway Hands-on Workshop: The basics’ will be dedicated to the most suitable material to be used in smaller hospitals with more limited resources.

Based on a hospital visit performed on 01-02 December 2009 by Dr Lennart Christiansson and Prof. Edoardo De Robertis and authorized by the Hospital Visiting & Accreditation Programme Joint Committee of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and the European Board of Anaesthesiology of the UEMS, we are pleased to announce that the Department of Anaesthesiology, , Mater Dei Hospital, Tal-Qroqq, MSD 2090 Msida, Malta, fulfills the criteria required to meet the European standards of excellence and is declared to be a European Centre for training of Anaesthesiologists.
