General information
Delegates
The registration fee for full participants includes:
• Admission to all scientific and educational sessions of the Congress.
• One Congress bag containing the Final Programme and Refresher Course/Abstracts CD-ROM.
Complimentary registered delegates will receive:
- Access to the opening ceremony, welcome reception & coffee breaks;
- Access to the industrial exhibition area;
- Travel Pass.
Passport / Visa / Invitation Letter
Each delegate and accompanying person is responsible for having a valid passport for entry into Finland. Please check with the Finnish Embassy in your country to determine if a VISA is required. Participants requiring a VISA for entry into Finland are advised to submit their application in their home country at least two months prior to the intended date of travel.
All registered delegates will receive an Invitation Letter to use if necessary to obtain a VISA. The Invitation Letter will be sent to you automatically together with your Registration Confirmation Letter.
The letter of invitation does not cover registration fees or any related expenses and is considered a formality to facilitate the process of obtaining a VISA for Finland for those delegates requiring this document. Cancellations due to VISA refusal /delay are non refundable.
Onsite registration / One-day tickets
Full registration is possible onsite, using our self registration facility. However, to avoid paying a higher rate, pre-registration is strongly recommended. One-day registration will also be available at the Congress Centre only on the day of attendance.
Workshops, Symposia & Refresher Courses
The majority of workshops, symposia and refresher courses are included in the registration fee for delegates of the Congress. For certain sessions an additional registration fee is applicable. Online registration is recommended for these sessions.
Accompanying persons
Accompanying Persons are not allowed to attend the scientific programme.
The Accompanying Person registration fee of € 70 (including VAT) can be purchased together with your delegate's registration and gives:
• Access to the opening ceremony and welcome reception.
• Access to the industrial exhibition, coffee breaks.
• One Travel Pass for full Congress registration.
• Individuals without a badge may attend the Award and Opening Ceremonies and Welcome Reception only if accompanied by a registered delegate.
Press registration
Individuals from the press can either pre-register online or self register on site, either for the whole Congress, a one-day registration, or purchase an access badge to the industrial exhibition only.
Cancellations / Refunds / Name changes
Registration cancellations and requests for refund of the registration fee for Euroanaesthesia Congress must be received in writing at the ESA Secretariat no later than 45 days (Wednesday, 28 April 2010) prior to the first day of the Congress. Beyond this period, refunds for cancellation are not applicable. Eligible refunds, net of a 100 euros administration fee, are transacted after the Congress. Registration name changes are subject to a 100 euros administration fee and the difference between applicable rates. Cancellations due to VISA application refusal /delay are non refundable.
Lost badge policy
Replacement badges are charged at 100 euros per day, refundable if you find your lost badge later.
