Accreditation of Amsterdam as centre of excellence

Based on a hospital visit performed on 6-7 April 2011 by Dr. Lennart Christiansson and Dr. Elisabeth Van Gessel and authorized by the Hospital Visiting & Training Accreditation Programme Joint Committee of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and the European Board of Anaesthesiology of the UEMS, we are pleased to announce that the Department of Anesthesiology, of the AMC Academic Medical Centre, Amsterdam, The Netherlands fulfills the criteria required to meet the European standards of excellence and is declared to be a European Centre for training of Anaesthesiologists.
